![]() For motivation, put up an inspiration wall or find something that motivates you. I would then put that number into the Harris Benedict Equation which will tell you how many calories you need to eat to healthily lose weight as it takes into consideration your exercise and everything else. If your looking to lose weight i would calculate your BMR( basic metabolic rate) which is how many calories you burn on a daily basis if you were just to sit down all day because your body uses calories just to function. I recommend to everyone wanting to lose weight, to do it the healthy, its far more beneficial in the long run and won’t mess up your metabolism. So now, i fluctuate around 58-60kg and i am happy and healthy and feel so fantastic. But after i was convinced to put a before and after photo on facebook i decided i didn’t care and now i have plenty of photo’s up here and before and afters and i get so many amazing messages from everyone and i am so glad i can help people. Then i decided to make my own fitness blog but was always too scared to put photo’s up because i was scared of people from school finding my blog. But when i discovered the tumblr fitness community i learnt how much i really did need to eat to keep my body happy and healthy. It’s so horrible now, thinking about the harm i would have been doing to my body. ![]() For school, for lunch all i would take is two crackers and that’s about it. This was back when i was very young and was losing weight by myself and didn’t know much about weight loss at all. Ranging from 300-700calories, sometimes eating over 1200 calories but very rarely. People have been asking a lot if i lost weight the healthy way and i always said yes but then i remembered that the other day, i found a food diary which counted my calories and i used to have a very very low amount of net calories. I did a lot of cardio and a lot of ab work throughout my weightloss journey as i wanted to have a sexy as stomach with ab definition and for that i knew i had to lose body fat which is what cardio helped with. I did that for ages which really got my fitness up and helped tone up my body, and i also joined the gym at the end of February 2012. I lost alot more weight, and then when i had lost majority of my weight me and mum joined boot camp which was every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We would swim for about an hour and we did that every single day for ages and ages. So i changed all of my ways and i lose alot of weight on my own and then mum decided to help me and we would get up at 5am every morning and be at the swimming pool at 5:30. If there was no chocolate in the house i would melt the chocolate mum used for cooking and eat that. For breakfast i would eat nutella on toast and a milo with my drink, i would have ice cream, ice magic and nutella for lunch sometimes, i would eat chocolate bars every day and i would always have dessert. I ate way too much chocolate it’s not even funny. I cut out all the crap from my diet, by crap i mean, chocolate, lollies, chips, ice cream, everything that was bad, i cut out. ![]() ![]() I also rode to and from school every day. So that day i decided to lose weight, i went on the treadmill every day for about half an hour to an hour. ![]() I wanted boys to notice me and i wanted to change everything. I wanted to feel good about myself, i wanted to lose all my excess weight and look like the amazing skinny pretty girls. The day i weighed that weight i said to myself i never wanted to get to 90kg because 100kg wasn’t far off if i didn’t stop. It was near the end of grade 8, i was only 13 years old and i weighed 85.6kg. ![]()
